Beautiful feeling swimming in these waters. It looks safe for cliff jumping as the water was deep everywhere I jumped from. Approximately 15 minutes walk from the cark park. There is a long tunnel where we had to take our shoes off as it was full of paddles of water. Not recommending to walk barefoot as we did, however it's totally doable if you have no alternative. The views from the two bridges we had to cross were astounding and we took some great pictures.

Beautiful waterfalls so much fun, fresh water, beautiful bush tracks, tunnels to explore with lime stone and glow worms, swing bridges for fun. Adults, kids, dogs all having fun. Bring your torch for the tunnels, picnic and water for drinking.

Great place to visit during the summer. Camping area available as well. For those who like to spend their days outdoors this place is suited for you. Neat nature walks and tracks and tunnels to explore. Also nice cold fresh water to swim in

From the Dicky's Flat car park we walked towards the Karangahape Gorge and the Windows walk. The walk is open to the Crown Mines and a little further but is gated shut at the Windows Walk and on crossing the suspension bridge at that point. However, you can walk from Dicky's Flat car park to here, approx 1 hour each way but you have to turn round to come back. It is an excellent walk, pretty flat, very scenic with many swimming spots in warmer weather. Best to have a torch for the tunnel, approx 80m long, as the floor of the tunnel is rocky with pools of water, but you can manage without getting your feet wet if careful. Note from the car park, the start of the track is not clearly sign posted but look for the near suspension bridge (2 mins) as the start, and the fact you should be walking in the direction the...

Walk from the Dickies Flat campground along the river, across two swing bridges and then through an old mine tunnel. The tunnel has a rough rocky floor with puddles of water , bring a torch. Not the greatest for people with balance issues. However once through you are at the bottom of the falls with the perfect...
