Karangahake Tunnel — Attraction in North Island

This is great tunnel to go though. You can bike or walk through it. We started from Waikino and walked downhill to Karangahake Hall. We left a car at both ends so we did not need to do the return walk. This tunnel is very cold. The floor is very good and flat. We had small children and they really enjoyed biking in it.
