This scenic reserve encompasses the Blue Lake and the adjoining walking loop track. The whole location is very beautiful and one can easily relax in the area even while taking a refreshing walk. The location is easily accessible by road and ample car parking spaces are available. There is a top 10 holiday park nearby which attracts a lot of visitors. Green Lake can be viewed from the lookout, but entry in there is not allowed. Highly recommended.

In a sunny day you understand why it's called blue lake. Nice spot for swimming, bbq with friends and family or for a walk around the lake. Recommended.

Always love coming here to enjoy the walk around the lake if we are pressed for time and cannot do one of the longer walks in Rotorua. Rain, hail or shine, it is always beautiful. This time was nice because of the amount of people out enjoyed by the water as well as a lot of people out walking. Highly...

A beautiful place with all the options for Families, Outdoor lovers, Boating , swimming, cycling, Running, walking around the Lake with the Kids or your dog or just lazing in the sun with a book. Amazing with the Top Ten Holiday Park included if you want to Getaway....
