Read moreThis is a marvellous lake with a decent lake front. It is surrounded with dense forest on a hilly terrain which makes the views and surroundings very beautiful. The name is aptly kept due to the reflected colour from the bottom on the lake. Though, the blue colour can only be seen if viewed from the top, which is not easily possible. It was hard to find the looping trail back around to the lookout carpark though so keep going around and follow the path along the road; it leads you back into the bush to continue. If you start from the carpark and follow the trail instead of going down the stairs then I recommend taking the stairs slowly, after the long walk they feel like mountains.
