Lake Tikitapu — Attraction in North Island

We had 3 small children and all the gear they needed plus a large chilly bin and extras the car park was way to far away from the lake and down hill which meant an uphill haul lugging 3 little kids and all our gear the ground was so hard we could not put our shelter up and on top of that there were bee's everywhere they were after food not a good...

Less than 15kms drive from Rotorua. It is awesome to see green and blue coloured lakes from one view point. Blue lake can be used for aquatic activities but green lake is considered as divine, so those activities aren't allowed. View point is 500 meters ahead of blue lake. Parking and toilet facilities...

The Blue lake is a Beatiful Lake, great for Family gatherings barbeque,picnic best lake to swim in, kayak Fun to create memories......
