Really great view eventough it was cloudy that day. Just take a short walk from the last route 1 bus stop (J'ville west - Lyall Bay, CMIIW).Based on the Google Maps, this place is a border between Wellington and eastern part of North Island, even I can see the ocean on a far! I believe it will be way more astounding if the weather was clear and sunny. We also can see some...

Joins onto the Skyline Walkway, passing over farmland in places; you can walk to Mt Kaukau from here or go to Rifle Range Road. You can also see the wind turbines and South Island on a good day.

The path is exposed to the elements, and there are no shelters up here, so I can't recommend coming on a windy...
