Our favorite white water rafting adventure to date with @rotoruarafting and @everything.newzealand . 🤙💦 We rafted down the world-famous Kaituna River and went down Tutea Falls, the world’s largest commercially rafted waterfall. We had such a blast getting absolutely soaked and meeting awesome people from around the world. Highly recommend adding this experience to your Rotorua travel plans. Special thanks to @jurestan for helping capture some of this epic content. | GIVEAWAY | We have partnered with @everything.newzealand to give a $500 activity voucher to one lucky winner. Tutea Falls in New Zealand proved to be an enchanting destination, offering a beautiful sight with its cascading waters and serene surroundings. The well-maintained tracks and stairs made for a pleasant and accessible journey, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the natural splendor of the falls. The thoughtful placement of informative signage and the convenience of a well-designed car park further enhanced our experience. We were able to effortlessly navigate and immerse ourselves in the breathtaking beauty of Tutea Falls. This picturesque haven is truly deserving of a five-star rating!

We visited Tutea and Okere Falls strictly because it appeared on The Amazing Race (US) Season 5 way back in 2004.

This incredible waterfall did not disappoint and visitors have two choices of entry, one at the Tutea pools point and the more familiar one at the big carpark. Either way, it will take you 10-15 minutes to walk to the actual waterfall.

The walk to the waterfall actually was not that exciting, but the actual location of the falls was incredible! Another gem in Rotorua and one for all ages to see and explore! It would probably be even better if you were rafting down the falls, though very scary...

Fantastic. If you want to skip the big walk from the Okera Falls carpark then head straight here to the top carpark and do the short walk and go along the bridge. There is a large amount of moving water and its very cool and a great spot for photos.

I would recommend you then drive down to the Okera Falls carpark and walk up to the first lookout and then up a bit further to the second lookout and caves and then walk back down to the carpark. Otherwise you can do the round trip loop but I warn you, it's a bit of effort even for...
