Wordsworth Dog Park — Attraction in North Island

Great place for your dogs to have a lovely run around. Larger than it looks but it's got shade along one side and new trees growing elsewhere. There are a couple of seats along two sides and also a picnic table. There's a small agility course and fresh running water available from a tap near the gate. Can get quite busy at certain times of the day but people are good about keeping an eye on their pooches to avoid any aggressive tussles. Be careful where you step though because sometimes people must forget to clean up their doggy doo but it is pretty clean in general. Sometimes people leave spare doggy doo bags tied to the fences around the paddock which I think is a great idea for any unexpected extras that may be necessary. A really lovely dog park. Awesome off-lead fully fenced park with water taps, poo bags, agility course and bench seats. Poppi and Co coffee cart parked just outside six mornings a week too, for any drinks, pies, ice creams or nibbles you want. This is a great place to bring your dogs. There's room to let them off the leash for a run, and an agility course if they need a mental workout too.
