Sunday just gone we had planned to take our train mad 2 year old to the model trains in cambridge, unfortunately we witnessed a poor father and their baby fall off the train as it derailed and then minutes later the same thing happened to us. The driver of the train had no idea we had even fallen off it was the passengers who alerted the driver. I would just like to make it clear to parents intending on taking their smaller children to proceed with caution, although the trains only travel at a slow speed, falling off for a small child can be painful and scary.
