Kaipatiki (Parakai Recreation Reserve) — Attraction in Rodney

I actually haven't been there in like 20 years and I pretty well find it as good as Rainbows end, where I get to go on the hydro slide, and I find it quite a very unique iconic attraction and a very picturesque thermal resort, where it's a really great place to have a lot of fun, particularly for kids and families and it also has a Cafe and takeaway bar, to have lunch there along with picnic tables and umbrellas, and it's also great for tourists and it also has a little arcade, and locker hiring, and I got to have a good soak in the indoor hot pool, as I kind of realize the pools need to be tested everyday for germs and bacteria from sweat and runny noses which is why it's also very important to shower thoroughly before and after you your swim and when you go in the pools, And as I knew it was going to cost me $35 and also because I'm disabled, like mildly autistic, and I am just mildly special needs, when I went in I produced my Total Mobility Card as I form of Identification to show that I have a disability, I went in for half price which was $15 and so I certainly got a good deal, and it was quite a very amazing and very exciting day out for me, so I rate this place to be a...

The slides are mankey but still fun but don't look very well kept at all. I'm 26 and the last time I remember seeing the actual colour of the slides was when I was six or so. Going down the slides you can see the poorly patched up holes all throughout them and I don't know how they pass inspection really. We also we're supposed to get a discount for the amount of people in our party and we're to mention the party name we were with in order to get the said discount but we got charged full price for dodgy slides. Last time I went was 1996, it's still the same, enjoyed the vibe, pools and slides but the place is in need of a major upgrade. Some lacquer over the concrete as the hose has left pathways sharp on bare feet, the tower upto slides is raggidy and old, so few toilets for hundreds of people to use and ultra stinkie, slides appearence is old but the pack some great fun still. Staff were awesome, the reserve areas great for groups, and bbq facilities for those wanting to use it. Il see what it's like again...
