Very beautiful view. Nice little bushwalk to get to the river bed. Exceptional view of the snowy mountains 🏔. I saw some rafting at the time which might have been organised by the people. Easy to spend 2-3 hrs at the location. Parking is limited besides the 70 km/hr road. Had to slow down to get to the parking. It may pose a safety risk on the road. Worth visiting the...

Beautiful views. This place is literally right off the road. The views from the lookout are great, but if you have a little time, it's worthwhile to take the trail that leads down to the riverbed and under the bridge. There is also a place to pull off the road about 100 yards closer to the bridge on the opposite side of the road. Also...

What a treat! Just on the road from lake Tekapo to Christchurch is the bluest river I’ve ever seen. This should be a national park not a stop on a motorway. Super happy we stopped. My overseas family couldn’t take their eyes off it. Another New Zealand hidden gem
