Absolutely breath taking beach that we would have missed if our BnB host didn’t recommend it. It has stunning white sand and crystal clear water. There are no toilets or facilities at the beach entrance (campground was closed, so unsure if their facilities can be used by the public) and the car park was quite small, so we parked at the side of the entrance road. Really enjoyed relaxing and enjoying nature here for a few hours. Just be sure to apply lots of sunblock as the sand is very reflective, and be aware of 4x4s and motorbikes driving on the harder sand by the water.

I recently visited this amazing beach with stunning white sands. It's an incredibly beautiful and serene place, perfect for relaxation. However, I made the mistake of parking my car on the beach, where it got stuck in the sand. Despite there being a designated parking area, I parked in the wrong spot. Thankfully, a kind family came to my rescue. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the man and his brother who helped pull my car out of the sand. Their generosity and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my experience.

There's a variety of beaches around New Zealand. Coming from a home beach of hot black sand we were stunned with how white the sand was here and how cool and nice it was to walk on. Silica sand is meant to be squeaky when you walk on it, but it was a bit windy to hear that....such a beautiful spot.
