Rarawa Beach Campsite — Hotel in Te Hiku Community

Found the road in here for a motor home just not suitable, we got a flat tyre, cost us a set of 4 $1999 as was unable to be repaired. Another motor homer after us also got a flat tyre so a $180 call out fee and a fix for the tyre. Prior to us a motor home cracked their water tank. One star gone, second star gone due to the drop and plop toilets giving you splash back on your body when doing your number 2s. Just so gross. Have informed doc re these issues. DOC campsite that costs 15$ / pp / night. The spot is nice, right behind the dunes so you don’t get as much wind and the sound of the waves is slightly dampened. There is a path taking you to the beach in 5 min. Great place to stay,not far to walk to beach. Very nice camp.with trees and shrubs around camp to shelter you.camp good for all people to stay . Good for staying in tents,caravans and camper Van's.
