Te Hoho Rock is truly a breathtaking sight—rising dramatically from the turquoise waters just off Cathedral Cove. The shape, sculpted by centuries of erosion, looks like the prow of a majestic ship, and it’s even more magical in person than in photos. The whole walk to Cathedral Cove is worth it just for this view alone.
The area is well-maintained, and the walk through the native bush is scenic and peaceful. If you're lucky, you'll catch it at sunrise or sunset, which makes it even more surreal.
