Title: A Quintessential Coffee Haven
Review: Without question, Cafe Tyme continues to serve up an extraordinary blend of ambiance, delectable food, and exceptional customer service. Nestled in the heart of Churton Park, Wellington, this gem truly encapsulates the charm of New Zealand's café culture.
There's an alluring warmth instantly felt upon entry, its convivial atmosphere bolstered by the effervescent staff, always attentive and ready with a smile. The café's heartening layout fosters connection, making it perfect not only for solo coffee aficionados but families and friends seeking a comfortable spot for a gathering.
But Cafe Tyme's true magic lies in its culinary prowess. The menu is a thoughtful and creative fusion of local ingredients and international flavours. The coffee, sourced from local roasters, is consistently rich and aromatic, a testament to the skill of their adept baristas.
And let's not forget their acclaimed bakery corner. From the delectable pastries to the sublime cakes, every treat is fresh, homemade, and mouth-wateringly delicious. If you're after a must-try, let me personally vouch for their beetroot cake â a delightful surprise for the palate.
In summary, Cafe Tyme is more than just a café. It's a vibrant community hub, where quality food, exceptional coffee, and friendly faces combine to create a truly enchanting experience. Five out of five stars and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly...
Read moreCafe Thyme, what a lovely setting leaving the garden centre you take just a short stroll across a pretty bridge to the cafe set among trees. The cafe itself has indoor and lovely outdoor areas to sit, there is a very good selection of cabinet food plus a very good menu to choose from, l just had something light, but very well prepared and presented, the staff very polite and efficient. This cafe is very nicely presented with prices in comparison to other places, the only thing is it could be a bit tight for a car park, if busy and garden centre is full, but there is the street. A definite high star rating for Cafe Thyme, they are worth every star. Please walk or drive over the quaint bridge to the cafe and enjoy a meal, or light lunch in such a lovely atmosphere, a cold wet day a lovely warm open fire to greet you, with good company, go on try it out, it's deffinley worth a...

When we explained that the taste of the quiche (with no garnish) was very odd, one staff member said that they were experienting and went to find a more senior person. This person stood over our table and basically said they can't please everyone and no one else had complained so we would not be given a refund. Nor did she offer a replacement. Her maner was combative and inflexible. It was as if she did not hear what we said and had a well rehursed script running.
Another meal looked like something a three year old might make in a sandpit (and tasted at that level). The third meal was chips and yes they got that one right. So, if your local fish and chip shop is too far away and you definately don't require the use of a clean lavatory, then this is the...
