Otherwise known as Puerto/Port Salvador Allende. Great spot to sit relax, buy local foods and snacks. You can also walk a little further, eat at the local hut restaurants, check out the small museum, and catch a boat ride around Lago/lake Xolotlan known as lago managua. Great cultural experience.

Beautiful place to visit. Most of the shops, restaurants and rides are only open on the weekends. Great food and the ferry ride to Isla Del Amor is a must. Lots to do and very family friendly. Dont forget to take a ride on the ferris wheel as it gives you a great view of Managua.

It’s nice to come and walk along the walkway that fronts the lake. During the day it’s very hot but you can see the lake and volcano. Be sure to come back at night to see all the fake trees lit up.

Very nice place. There are tons of restaurants to eat and while the lake's water is very contaminated, the views are great. Plus, it is very close to the Airport and most of the hotels.
