Excellent museum, surely the best in the country. Entry $5 for everyone (international, student, national, etc). Very knowledgeable staff who taught me so much. Great archaeological artifacts and also a great art collection. It's the national art museum too. And they even have one of the footprints from 6000bc that you can't see at the archaeological museum in Acahualinca (the Huellas) since it's closed. This is a must visit...

I came here on Mother's Day during the late morning and the museum was practically empty. Admission is only $5 and I ended up with an extremely knowledgeable employee who took me on a 90-min. guided tour of all the exhibits on the first floor.
