We really liked this beach. We've visited several while staying in San Juan del Sur. Like the other beaches, it's chill but still has a bit of a vibe. Good for people watching. It's cool because it's beautiful sand but also interesting rock. Good length too if you like to walk the beach. If you like to surf, you can certainly do it here! There are several places to eat and grab a drink, including one at the far end of the beach that we didn't get to but will check out when we go back. Read morePlaya maderas is one of the most popular beaches in san juan del sur. Mostly known for its amazing waves that attract surfers through all the year. Maderas is a great option to relax, bring your speaker, some beers and forget about everything! There are not a lot of options of bars to choose from, which makes the place a lit bit pricy.
