Wonderful ski resort We holidayed here January 2025 for a week for a family ski trip. None of us are experienced. The people are so friendly and helpful. The slopes are great, there isn’t really a quieter place to learn for the kids but we soon got the hang of it. There are 2 chair lifts very close and a button lift Then off to the right another lift that you can sit on a sledge/toboggan and do the toboggan track which is very fun but very treacherous! You can go really fast, it’s included in your lift pass so that’s fun. lodge 900 is just at the bottom of the slope so I perfect for a hot chocolate or something for a break. The place is lovely and clean (except for numerous dog poos… so do not let your kids roll about in the snow beside paths 🥹) that was the only downside was so much dog mess. The whole of Beitostolen is friendly, easy to get around and has everything you need for a lovely holiday.

A perfect skiing area for beginners and families with younger children. There are different slopes and features like ski cross, a fun park, and the ‘High Five’ slope for kids. With the same ski pass, a free ski bus can take you to Raudalen, a ski area for more advanced skiing, with some black and red slopes and off-piste skiing. There is paid parking in the whole city center, so you need to take that into account.

There is a good potential. But they don't use it! Nothing fun for kids or good skiers before mid season. Broken main lift chairlift to summit. Doesn't look to get fixed this winter. Partly extremely bad service in the lifts when some workers are sleeping and sitting on their mobiles when people needs help. No stationed first aid personal in Raudalen even if lifts are open.

Bought 3 tickets full price without any information which became clear when we were at te top: lift closes within 5 minutes. So after paying full price it was a quick return without any possibility to wall or make photos.

The lady who sold the ticket should be acting more customer friendly instead of only selling pictures.

Really really disappointing! And with that: lift closes at 5PM so do not enter...
