Riddergaarden Mountain Lodge — Hotel in Øystre Slidre

Before saying anything else we feel the need to mention and give our thanks to Thea (Tea?) - the receptionist, that welcomed us to the hotel. She gave us not only an amazing first impression but she also went over and beyond to make sure she could be at our service to the last second of her shift - such kindness and an employee that should be congratulated.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. We were lucky that the hotel was very quiet and we suspected empty - so we had the spa for ourselves along with the breakfast buffet. The rooms are very spacious, modern and comfortable. They come with a fully equipped kitchen with utensils, which surprised us positively. There are shops in the area too, which is super convenient.

It’s a decent hotel. Parking is extortionate though. At this price point it should be included in the price or at least subsidised? Day light robbery charging 200kr per day in my opinion. The prices in the restaurant are also a rip off - 325kr for a child’s portion of lasagne highlights this. Staff were friendly and efficient no complaints there. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. Breakfast is a decent selection especially for cold stuff but I would say the hot selection was disappointing. Fried eggs, potatoes and bacon…is a bit dry! The pool area is nice but nothing special, definitely not worth 600kr if you are a family just using it for a couple hours, luckily it was included in our rate. Overall the value for money just isn’t there...

Mitt opphold på Riddergården Mountain Lodge var rett og slett fantastisk! Fra det øyeblikket jeg ankom, ble jeg møtt med en varm velkomst og utsikt som tok pusten fra meg.

Spaet var virkelig et høydepunkt. Etter en dag med aktiviteter i fjellet, var det himmelsk å synke ned i de varme bassengene, nyte en foryngende massasje, og bare slappe helt av. Det var som å være i en oase av ro og velvære.

Leilighetene var både romslige og elegante, med en perfekt kombinasjon av moderne bekvemmeligheter og koselige detaljer. Det var god plass å spre seg på, og de store vinduene lot meg nyte den vakre naturen rett fra stuen. Jeg følte meg hjemme med en gang, og det var den ultimate luksusen å ha så mye plass.

Casa Montagna serverte uten tvil noen av de beste måltidene jeg noensinne har hatt. Hver rett var en kulinarisk reise i Italia, og smaken var intet mindre enn utsøkt. Atmosfæren var innbydende og hyggelig, og det var en glede å spise der hver kveld.

Alt i alt, Riddergården Mountain Lodge leverte på alle fronter og litt til. Det var en ferie fylt med komfort, luksus og naturskjønnhet. Jeg kan ikke anbefale det nok – dette stedet må bare...
