Bergo Hotel — Hotel in Øystre Slidre

We have stayed in the Bergo cabins twice now, winter 2016 and 2017. On both occasions we were very happy with the accommodation. Despite the furnishings being a little bit dated the cabins were cosy and warm , clean and very well equipped. We felt very comfortable. The cabins are close enough to the ski slopes to walk or ski to. The shops are so close for food, everything you need is within walking distance. Only service vehicles come by the cabins once or twice a day so it's very safe for children to play out in the snow. The cabins are run by the Bergo Hotel and we have found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Bergo hotell was an ok experience. The bedroom has regular curtains, and the living room has blackout curtains. Not the best choice... It was bright through the night, and this complicated our sleep.

Fridge, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, shower 👍

Medium/firm mattress, beds were good 👍

Too bright in the master bedroom due to light curtains 👎

Creaky doors 👎

Light in bathroom was so bright it blinded us when turned on during night 👎

Breakfast buffet was good👍

Bergo Rom|(room 208, building 4)||The room was old and basic and not very clean.|No free parking, but there are parking spots outside (see the blue P10 signs in my photos).|There’s a small supermarket and a pizzeria across the street.|I got the room key at the Radisson Blu reception.||I emailed the hotel because the bathroom wasn’t clean and the toilet was dirty, but no one replied.|They only sent emails about online check-in and payment, but I didn’t care since I already had the key and the room was paid.||There’s no reception and no fridge in the room.||Besseggen is a 35-minute drive away.||See my...
