We travelled to Lofoten at the end of January, so due to the weather conditions and a lot of snow there were not too many outdoor activities or hikes we could do. So we were looking for easier walks or strolls and this one is nice and easy to do also in winter and with a lot of snow. You can park the car in Sorvagen and follow the trail, which is well maintained also in winter, and walk around the lake and pass by two waterfalls. Takes maybe 1-1,5 hrs, nice stroll on a sunny winter day. We had considered maybe also hiking up one of the closeby mountains from here but if there is a lot of snow in winter you can forget about that as you just cannot see the trail. So we stuck to the easy walk around the lake, which was also nice.
