Beautiful view along the scenic drive. You have to park your car on the side of the street and hike down this steep side road to the bottom. It’s about 1-2 mile walk. The scenic drive reminded me of road to Hana in Maui. Very beautiful drive

Lovely views. Wouldn't make a separate trip to see this, but would 100% recommend stopping if you'll be nearby. It crosses the botanical garden which is a bit confusing but you're allowed to walk through as long as you go straight through.

This is a stunningly gorgeous spot that is the epitome of "tropical paradise." You can access the bay for free on two trails, either Onomea Bay trail on the south or Donkey Trail to the north. The Onomea Bay trail is easy. The Donkey Trail is quite steep but there is a small waterfall you can play in at the bottom and a peninsula you can walk out on. By far, the most rewarding view of the bay is from the property of Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garde. It is well worth the price...
