Onomea Bay — Attraction in Hawaii

Access to Onomea bay and falls are from the Old Mamalahoa Highway. There is limited parking on road. From trail head marker, it is step and wet to first cove. Here the palm trees grow out horizontal from rocky shore. Go over headland of Botanical garden to Onomea falls. From here you can cross stream to narrow headland to view the bay itself. No swimming here. Trail is wet and continues back up to road. Good...

We found a little trailhead just off the road that allowed us to get right down to the shoreline. It was a fun scramble down and the view was fantastic!...

Short walk, you have to be careful when parking the car, there are thieves roaming around to steal things from the car...
