This is a picnic point at see view Karachi. You can spend evening time here with family. But don't try to swim in the beach coz there is no safe guards to protect people if some incident happens. Park located at sea ๐ view, start from Burger ๐ king , good for evening time pass but no walking ๐ถโโ๏ธ or jogging ๐โโ๏ธ tracks, itโs simply garden , few slides for kids. Sea breeze adds the green beauty. Also one can enjoy variety of beautiful views from the park. The place offers a blend of well kept park and seaviews. It's spaceous and rarely feels crowded. The flowers, plants and grass are well kept. The rides are routinely maintained. They have made a couple of observation decks to enjoy the sunset. Above all, it offers secure parking. It's all we deserve after hectic work life style, place to walk/jog at your own pace with out bumping into any one familiar - love my "ME TIME" Abdul Karim Khan was a noble man, who was fortunate enough to see his dream of a greener Karachi come to realization during his lifetime. I've had the opportunity to study garden design with him in the early 90s. He was a simple man, whose simple organic garden designs still exist in the homes of garden lovers of Karachi and are proof of his love for organic forms. The entrance of A.K.Khan Park is very grand but exactly the opposite of what Khan sahib would have liked to promote. Although the sea is a bit further distant, but still it a good place to visit, especially...

The park administration does charge a small ticket fee to enter in the park, however; the parking is free so long you're visiting the premises and not going elsewhere. Or at least that's how it was when I last visited it a year ago. Either ways, it's advisable to not lose the ticket for your own benefit. OH, and if you ever feel like sneaking to the adjacent Mickey D's, there is a secret passage not many know (just you may want to be a little more athletic to...
