Yesterday, I visited Hyderabad for a test and afterward decided to go to Rani Bagh, Hyderabad's biggest park. At the entrance, the ticket vendor charged me 50 rupees for an entry ticket. I asked, 'Isn't this a public park? Why are you charging 50 rupees?' They replied, 'We collect these rupees on behalf of the Hyderabad local authorities.' After entering the park, I saw dirty water in the pools and didn't find any drinking water facilities throughout the park. In the evening, when I used the washroom, a boy asked for 20 rupees as usage charges. There were no facilities available in this big park, only its famous name. I request the Hyderabad Regional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad to take necessary action, provide drinking water, and stop charging entry fees. The park should be free for visitors to enjoy nature. I also request that you fix the washrooms and assign sweepers from the municipal community to maintain cleanliness.
