If you love walking the South West Coast Path and you've not taken this area in, you really should. Not just because Poldark was partly filmed here. Not just because the water is so clear you can see the rocks and kelp below the surface. Not just because there is a chance you might catch sight of birds, dolphins and in their season, tuna breaching the surface of the Ocean. But because you live on a beautiful planet you share it with other incredible creatures and in a place like those it just all seems to fit and feel better. You really get a feeling of peace here. It might even give you the strength to see the every day struggle is worth it.

The idyllic and stunning tiny fishing cove of Penberth. Not a beach and certainly not a place to hang out for the day… More like a gorgeous part of he coast path walk to stop over for lunch or take a dip… However.. Porthcurno and Treen are not too far away. Note: There is no parking here. You can park at Treen or Porthcurno and walk via the undulating and bouldery coastpath..

I never knew that they filmed Poldark here, and now I know I’m glad I made my way here from Aus! 😁 It was a tiring walk from Mousehole along the South Coast Trail and I thought how cute and remote this little hamlet was, and why so many people were there! So beautiful, really worth the trip, whichever way you do it!

Nice place to view and walk in. There is a red telephone booth on the left, and a swing just up ahead from it. At the end there is a bench and a few areas to sit and view the water, the boats, and a hike path. Becareful of the stinging plant by your feet. It's not poisinous, but it will sting.

A beautiful location, unfortunately I could not climb the hills on either side sure to a previous injury, however thoroughly enjoyed sitting on a rock and reading whilst listening to the waves coming in, also observing the waves, how magical it is.

I agree with previous review. Don’t go here. It’s beautiful and doesn’t need the likes of us ruining it. Probably the only place in the world that has not been ruined by Instagram obsessed crowd.
