I would give 5* to garden itself but there are few things to consider: To go there, you will need to book a car taxi (you can use apps) for about 500-600 PHP and eventually they will charge you some additional fees (we had to give 90 PHP extra). The driver left me a bad review in the app because we rejected his offer to take us back later and to bring us to few more places on the way for 3000 PHP. Count on that. If you don’t have any transportation booked to return, it will be very hard to find one (or you have to ask people around if they can take you, without being very noticiable). To find transportation with a motorcycle is not hard, they wanted to drive us for about 300 PHP until the entrance to Cebu.

People who are selling things in front of the garden are mainly not nice. When we looked for transportation back, and rejected to use a motorcycle, they started to make fun of us. They were telling in their language to everyone to not take us with them (we asked few taxis, private people and tourist vans). We know they were doing that because one person stopped to us and offered to drive us back (with stop to see Temple of Leah) for 400 PHP and one guy from those who made fun and insisted of motorcycle, came to our driver and started to tell him in ugly tone that he shouldn’t take us, that we should go by motorcycle, etc. Sellers will also go after you asking to buy juices, magnets and whichever items, what makes you feel uncomfortable. I believe that Sirao Garden should work on establishing environment without tourists being molested by not so nice sellers.

Garden itself had people, but it wasn’t fully packed. For example, to take a photo on the famous hand, we waited only some minutes. In other spots, we didn’t even have to wait. It has many nice picturesque spots.

In the toilet it is forbidden to poop 💩, if that means something to someone :)

There is “an original garden” just some minutes away from this one.

I would recommend you this place, if you have your own transportation or if you don’t mind going with motorcycle, and if you are into nice photos. If you are not into photos, you can skip it and focus on something else in...

Title: Little Amsterdam in Cebu - A Floral Paradise

Visiting Sirao Garden, often referred to as the "Little Amsterdam of Cebu," was an absolute delight for both nature enthusiasts and photography lovers. The moment I stepped into this enchanting garden, I was transported to a world of vibrant colors and rare blooms.

The first thing that strikes you about Sirao Garden is the sheer variety of flowers on display. It's like a botanical wonderland. From tulips of all shades to sunflowers, orchids, and more, the garden is a testament to Mother Nature's creativity. Every turn reveals a new and rare species in full bloom.

As someone who enjoys photography, I couldn't have asked for a better setting. The entire garden is a picturesque spot waiting to be captured. The vibrant hues of the flowers against the lush greenery create a visual feast. I spent hours capturing the breathtaking landscapes and the intricate details of the flowers, and every shot turned out to be a work of art.

The themed gardens within Sirao Garden add a unique charm to the experience. The windmill and Dutch-inspired structures give it the "Little Amsterdam" nickname, and they are just as picturesque as the flowers themselves. It's as if you've stepped into a European fairy tale.

What truly sets Sirao Garden apart is the commitment to maintaining a pristine and serene environment. The well-kept pathways make it easy to explore every nook and cranny of this floral paradise. The clean surroundings and peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal place for relaxation and reflection.

I recommend visiting during the early morning or late afternoon to catch the magical play of light on the blooms. Sirao Garden is not just a feast for the eyes but also a soothing experience for the soul.

In conclusion, Sirao Garden is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Cebu who appreciates the beauty of nature, rare flowers, and stunning photography opportunities. It's a place that inspires wonder and offers a true taste of nature's artistic brilliance. Don't forget your camera; you'll want to capture every moment in this Little...

Beginning on a day tour at Sirao Garden unfolded as a kaleidoscopic journey, adorned with vibrant blooms and practical insights to enhance the experience. The entrance fee, a nominal cost for the visual feast that awaited, proved clearly worth the investment, promising not only panoramic views but also a mesmerizing encounter with nature's vibrant hues. Upon arrival, the sight of local food vendors outside the garden added an enticing aroma to the air. However, it's essential to note that no outside food is allowed upon entering the garden. This policy, while ensuring the preservation of the garden's pristine atmosphere, also encourages visitors to indulge in the delightful treats available within. Navigating through Sirao Garden during the day tour proved to be a delightful adventure. The well-organized layout and diverse sections of the garden, each boasting a unique floral theme, ensured that every corner held something new to discover. Practical considerations further enhanced the experience. While a day tour was ample to explore the entire garden, the recommendation to rent a transport service proved invaluable. Situated on a high mountain, the journey to Sirao Garden involves winding roads that might be challenging for those unfamiliar with the terrain. Renting a vehicle, accompanied by a local driver, not only provided a seamless and stress-free journey but also allowed me to fully appreciate the breathtaking views without the distractions of navigation. In conclusion, my day tour at Sirao Garden was a sensory delight, combining the allure of blooming landscapes with practical insights for a seamless experience. The entrance fee justified the visual splendor within, and the prohibition of outside food contributed to the garden's cleanliness and ambiance. Navigating the garden was a joy, and the advice on renting a transport service ensured a comfortable and enjoyable exploration of this floral paradise perched on a high mountain.
