This church was built in 1847 and is very antique. After passing through the village behind the church, you can see the wonderful sea and there is a traditional market nearby. If there is no traffic jam from j centre mall in Mandau to jeepney, you can make it within 30 to 40 minutes. However, be sure to wear a dust mask due to pollution.If you walk in the direction of cebu city for about 5 minutes from church, you can enjoy zip line and fish, there is a delicious restaurant.

It's my second year here in Liloan. I am amazed by the beautiful and one-of-a-kind spots here. Since I am a catholic, I am used to attend masses at San Fernando Rey Parish Church. The church was built centuries ago and it's stunning. The place itself is so nice. You're not just in solemn talking to God but feeling comfy the priests offer during the homily. People in Liloan are religious because as early as 6am, first mass, they really attend the mass with all their heart.

San Fernando El Rey Parish is built in 1847. It is said that during spanish era, most of the churches built by then was facing the sea, while the San Fernando El Rey is built facing the mountains. The Orientation of the church post some intrigued, why it is design differently of other churches by then? It is said to be to protect the church goer from the ray of sunlight. However, does the design affect the belief of the faithful? For me seems not.
