Going up by foot from the highway can be a real challenge for non hikers. It almost takes us an hour to reach the entrance with breaks in between. Be sure to bring bottled water and spare clothing if going by foot. The path going up is very steep and long which takes around 30 mins. Parking is available at the entrance. Once at the registration area, you need to pay 100 and still have to walk up for 15 mins. Be careful especially when it is raining since one wrong step will slip you down at the bottom. No fence/net to protect you from falling. In the view deck, you can appreciate the scattered rock formations. They are many instagrammable structures and you can see the La trinidad landscape below.
