Built in 1646, this church is known for its red bricked facade and baroque style architecture. When you go to Liliw, aside from the view, there is a parking lot in front of it and it charge 20 pesos for parking. There is also a toilet at the back of the church that charges 5 pesos. Walking distance from the church are the stores of what Liliw is famous for, tsinelas, which cost around 300 pesos. If you are a Catholic or loves the old architectural design then this is a good place to visit.

One of the great Spanish-era Churches. Liliw / St John The Baptist Church stands proud at the center of Liliw, Laguna. Serving as both a communal space and as a symbol of Filipino community and religiousness. I definitely recommend travelers to pay a visit to the site, to reflect, and to pray. Both the interiors and exteriors are grand and scenic and stand as testaments to the Catholic Church and the Filipino people standing the test of time.

Improved a lot since we visited this place in 2015. We had pilgrimage this 2024, it was a sunny yet windy. CR is small but clean, there's a donation box thus someone ensure it is well maintained. Church is big and very beautiful. Of course, after church visit, the street beside is has an alley of the cheapest yet fashionable and strong (value for money)slip-ons, shoes etcc.

The place looks old at your first glance but if you are going to look inside, there's already new technology being used for the mass. These are my drone shots. Feel free to contact me in case you need more images of this beautiful place. It has parking area - a bit small actually and you will have to pay 20 pesos for the parking fee.

Of all the churches I have visited in the Philippines, this one is by far my favourite. With the joy and life of the quaint village centered around it, you can get a sense of the kind-heartedness of the Liliweños and their sense of community. It also has a magical and uplifting feel about it
