It’s got this Neoclassic-inspired look with these columns that are so on point. But wait 'til you step inside. It’s like a mix of Neo-classical and Baroque, and it’s just so extra. You can literally feel the history and devotion in the air. And did you know? This place was legit the presidential palace of Emilio Aguinaldo, our first president. Like, walking where he walked is so surreal. It’s not just a church; it’s a piece of our history. But it’s not all old school. The cathedral is still super relevant today, serving as a spiritual hub for the peeps in town. Whether you’re there to pray, reflect, or just soak in the beauty, Malolos Cathedral is welcoming everyone with open arms. So, if you’re ever in Bulacan, you have to check out Malolos Cathedral. It’s a beautiful reminder of our rich cultural heritage and the enduring spirit of the Filipino people. Let’s go and experience the grace and beauty of Malolos...

This is a beautiful church in the very heart of Malolos, Bulacan. It is not the same as the Barasoain Church although they're not too far apart. I attended the inauguration of Bp. Villarojo several years back and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the inside was.

Currently, too many cars park within the church grounds and this once charming courtyard has simply turned into a parking lot so much so, it's full on a Monday morning even if there's no mass going on at that time. I suspect people park here because this town has become too congested with vehicles and no infrastructure is being done to address the significant volume of vehicles. Wish local authorities will do something about the parking problem.

As mentioned, the church inside though is beautiful and even the local church offices retain their old charm. It's worth the visit if you happen to pass by...

The ecclesiastical seat of the Diocese of Malolos and one of, if not THE biggest church in Bulacan. It is another religious and historical landmark of Bulacan. We decided to visit this historical church while visiting Malolos since it was quite close to The Barasoain Church. The church itself is beautiful and really big with a towering dome. The interior is decorated with statues, murals, and a few beautiful altars. Even though we couldn't spend a lot of time in the cathedral, it was a great experience visiting this minor basilica. ps. The historical Barasoain Church is also very close to the Malolos Cathedral so visiting both these historical churches won't be a problem.
