We went here on Feb 27, 2022 and my favorite part here is the beach, i can swim all day, the ambiance here is not too hot and the sand under the sea is fine just watch out on some areas with rocks underneath which you can reach during low tides. The place is actually nice. Beach is not too far from the shoreline. Proximity wise, is not bad. Just a 3 hr drive from QC. I love the vibe of the restaurant and it is huge, it can cater many guests. They also have a bar for those who love to drink some wine and liquor nice vibe during evenings, while enjoying your night infront of the beach with the picturesque of the city. Food is also great, can feed 2 to 3 persons per serving.
The only downside is their accomodations. We stayed in the 2nd floor beach view side. The rooms are quite old needs improvement and renovations maybe in the future. Knowing that the resort has been there for so long. And the room floor is too rough i believe. The toilet side doesnt have any drain. I tried to clean the dirt on the floor of toilet side but sadly the floor doesnt have any drain. So all of the water were stocked we dont know how can we clean it. Maybe just mop it out. We never had the chance to call a room service to clean the waters until our checkout. Since the telephone service is not working. While we spend only 1night here. If you plan to stay here for the night maybe just avoid getting the toilet side wet to avoid water overflowing.
The shower areas also needs improvement, looks old, not well lighted.
But I can say that the beach...
Read moreWe were very disappointed. Spent almost 75K pesos on a 5room, 2nights stay but we ended up just using the pool which is not that big to accommodate guests. The beach was dirty. The place was boring, no music, no activities, not much amenities. Breakfast was okay, not too impressive. I was told when I was making my booking that the 7,900 pesos room would include 4 people BUT when i settled my payment, only 2 people are paid for in that rate of 7,900 and additional 2 persons per room would be extra pay! I don’t mind paying extra if the place is amazing but NO, this place needs a lot of work to do. It’s disappointing and frustrating on our end. We are visiting from the USA and we haven’t been home for 12 years. We were really excited and looking forward to have a great time at Camayan but it was a boring and sad. If it wasn’t for the pool, there’s nothing else to do or to see. Online ads say they have snorkeling, and other activities but no they don’t per staff. We ended up just staying in our rooms where some ceiling fans and electric kettles do not work. Sinks get clogged up. Lots of ants in our sheets. 😭😓 we will never come back here. We could have spent that money in a waterpark or a villa and had more fun there. We could have drove around to look for a nice beach spot, stayed in a hotel and had karaoke or something. Anyways, this is only on our own personal experience and unfortunately, camayan resort did not meet our expectations. we are not coming...
Read moreThe Resort had strong and weak points. Strong points: The Filipino food there was really fantastic with a reasonable price. The pinakbet and the bulalo were my favourites! Serving was enough. I spent nearly 4 thousand for lunch with dessert for 11 pax. My family were happy with the food. White sand beach with soft waves, so relaxing! Live band during the night. The place is better for outing and team building. Bell boys and some staff are accommodating and respectful.
Weak points: I guess the pricing is expensive for the room. The room was so dim and lacking lights. 10k for a room for 5 and extra 900 pesos for additional person. That goes with free breakfast buffet.
The breakfast buffet isn’t as good as their normal menu.
We checked in 2 rooms: 1st room’s cable wasn’t working. We even called the reception several times but the issue was just solved few hours before our check out time. 2nd room’s aircon wasn’t cooling. We called the reception and the maintenance diagnosed the problem but wasn’t able to fix it. It was really warm the time we stayed in that room. They sould’ve offered us another room to stay but...
