With an entrance fee of 50 per person, this has been our go-to stopover upon our trips to the further northern Philippines.

The guard on the main entrance is friendly and will ask how many are in the vehicles maybe for records purposes. The place is big and better to come late in the afternoon because most of the establishments will open on that time. The price of commodity is a little bit expensive but you can get budget food inside the food courts. You can bring also your own food and have picnic inside. Read moreBeautiful park in that it is peaceful and there is green grass everywhere. The man-made lake is nice to look at, but you can't walk all the way around it because the backside is a private subdivision. Walking down to the end of the lake (away from the lighthouse) is nice, but only one of the fountains along the way was working (the others were growing grass or were being used as burning pits). The NLEX is nearby the park, so you can hear the faint whooshing of cars driving past, but it is not enough to upset the peaceful ambiance of the park, especially the main areas near the lighthouse.
