-False Advertising & Poor Experience â Not Worth it- We booked for a group of 50 people, expecting an unlimited buffet as advertised. Sadly, the experience was a major letdown from start to finish. We arrived on time at 11:30 AM, but food wasnât served until 12:30 PM â and even then, it was just a single saucer plate of vegetables for every 5 people. It was far from an eat-all-you-can. In fact, nothing was self-service; everything was served directly to the table in very small portions, and we constantly had to ask for more. The main dishes like salmon, beef, chicken, and other meats â the ones that drew us in from their promotional pictures â only started arriving around 1:30 PM. By then, people were already frustrated and disappointed. The food served looked nothing like the pictures online. It was minimal, delayed, and felt misleading. Many in our group skipped meals prior to coming, expecting a true eat-all-you-can experience, only to be served tiny portions with long gaps in between. If this had been marketed as a "plated, limited serving" event, expectations might have been different. But advertising it as an unlimited buffet is simply false. The only positive thing we can mention is the staff on the floor. The servers were kind, patient, and genuinely apologetic. They did what they could, but itâs clear that poor planning and bad management were the real problems. Out of 50 guests, not a single one was satisfied. We sincerely hope they improve, because this kind of service is unacceptable â especially for...
Read moreStayed at Villa Amara supposedly for 2 days but we decided to cut it short since the hotel looks like a ghost town & thereâs NO AMENITIES aside from the 3 pcs toothbrush and mini toothpaste. They gave us âfree welcome drinksâ when we arrive but when we went to the roofdeck thereâs no one there given that itâs only 9:20pm (I also asked theyâre closing time and the receptionist told me that itâll be close at 10pm). We paid â±25k or so (weâre 5pax) for the Villa. The breakfast is not included, no towels, no bathrobe â which is totally surprising given the price. The next day we waited for the manager from 7am until 10, the Sales Manager arrived and talked to us. Sheâs nice but the accommodation is really not worth it, it gave us a huge stress so we asked for a refund - we were able to get back the 75% of the remaining night.
Oh, the bathroom is dirty & has a foul smell too.
P.s. Kudos to Kuya Guard for being a receptionist, guard & utilities at the same time during our stay (he is the only staff there during our stay)
P.P.S. they blocked me on facebook after I left a...
Read moreWe visited on a Monday, expecting the advertised weekday steak rate of â±999, but were charged â±1,200 per head instead. This was quite disappointing and felt misleading, as we had specifically chosen that day based on the promotion.
The steak itself was decent, tender but a bit lacking in flavor. For a better steak experience, I would recommend trying Prime Steak House.
On a brighter note, the pasta was absolutely outstanding, easily a 10/10. It was the highlight of our meal and truly the saving grace for the overall dining experience.
The staff were attentive, likely because it wasnât a busy day, and we appreciated the quick service and clean, comfortably cool environment. However, we did notice a few flies around the hall, which could use attention to maintain the overall ambiance.
Lastly, the coffee did not meet expectations and could definitely be improved.
Overall: A fair experience with some positives, but with room for improvement, particularly in honoring advertised prices, enhancing the steak flavor, and...
