White Beach — Attraction in Panglao

Anda White Beach - the public part: WTF?! 🤔 We drove from Baclayon 2,5 hours on a scooter to see this famous paradise beach, but what a disappointment!!! 🙄 The sand is beautifully white and the beach is long, but we also want to swim in the sea! Here it was impossible!!! We were there between 12:30-16:30 (when the sun went down) and the sea literally disappeared due to the low tide. You could walk about 20m and had the water max until knees! We did not want to walk further where the sea grass and corals are. We saw two bars at the beach, went in Old Castle bar for a lunch, but cannot...

Das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unterirdisch. Das Hotel nimmt Preise eines Luxusresorts, bietet aber keinerlei entsprechende Gegenleistungen an.

Die Zimmer sind alt und in schlechtem Zustand (Sanitäranlagen, Fließen, Wände, Möbel, ...). Die Hotel- und Strandanlagen sind in schlechtem Zustand und werden anscheinend nicht mehr gepflegt (die Pool-Dusche musste mit einer Schraubzange bedient werden, viele kaputt, Strandhaus des Personals kaputt, Strandliegen dreckig und kaputt, ...).

Das Personal ist sehr nett und das beste am Aufenthalt. Das Bett wirkte ebenfalls neu und war bequem. Der Strand ist schön.

Die (direkte) Straße zum Hotel war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes nicht nutzbar. Wir mussten 10 Minuten Umweg über eine extrem steinige Straße nehmen, welche selbst die Einheimischen ungern...

Beautiful beach in general, but come on, you cannot even enter the water! I would not drive so many kilometres just to lie on the sand and look at the water.. maybe it is just me but in any case, I do not recommend it for someone desiring to swim in some...
