One of the finest beaches in the northeastern part of the Philippine Map, particularly that at Sta. Ana, Province of Cagayan is no exemption, being marked as the Boracay of the North for some beach lovers. To me, however, the same is incomparable and should be known as it marks its own name.
This is Anguib Beach. A clear and pristine turquoise waters with powdery and fine white sand enclaved in a lush and verdant mountains which make up for the paradise that it is.
How to get there:
By bus: The Florida Bus, Victory Liner, Five Star Bus, Dalin Bus, EMC and Solid North goes straight to Tuguegarao daily.
By plane: Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific flies to Tuguegarao daily.
From Tuguegarao, a van or minibus can take you to Santa Ana.
By private vehicle: Drive along the North Luzon Expressway and SCTEX then exit at Tarlac/La Paz tollgate. Turn right head straight towards Talavera and drive north of Go the national road, passing several towns in San Jose, Nueva Ecija, Sta Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, and Isabela. Read moreThe beach is a bit far but worth the trip. You can either travel by land or water. The boat will cost you 1800php,but the people there are very honest and recommended that we travel by land since the beach has an entrance fee.
The entrance fee is very expensive. 200php/ person, 160php for kids, 160php for seniors and 40php for kids below 5yrs old. The beach was very clean. Staff there were always cleaning and were very courteous with our queries. There were clean toilets and a shower room. They were just missing a place to hang your clothes on in the shower room. There were only 2 families when we were there.
Anguib is a gorgeous beach but I hope they lower the entrance fee, so people can see and experience...

We had to shelter in a cabana but fortunately the staff erected another tent for us after the rain stopped. I was astonished how expensive it was but I loved being in the outdoors seeing Filipinos enjoying themselves and everyone was so...
