The altar is overly decorated with adornments and embelishments resembling like a king's throne. I prefer the old design of the altar which is simple yet elegant to look at. The wooden railings place in front of the altar reminds me of the pre-vaticam era where the lay faithful are not allpwed to go the altar. I attwnded masa thia morning and I was surprised that the priest celebrated masa at the side of the altar where the statue of St. Joseph was located.
