The park opens as early as 5:00 to welcome exercise enthusiasts, joggers, cyclists as well as Zumba addicts.... On the east side of the park facing McArthur Highway, stands as the front phase where you can see a huge welcoming sign on a wide beige colored pavement with cordoned fountain shooting water in a symphony on scheduled routine. Around 6am the grassy lawn behind would be filled with Zumba aficionados swinging and stretching to the groove of the music. Around you can see an array of joggers, kids cycling, even senior citizens briskly walking. Behind the lawn, one can see the dome-shaped auditorium, where concerts are usually held every month if not every two weeks. Around the vicinity of the auditorium, one can see a couple of small stables housing bunnies and colorful birds, mini ponds full of koi fishes. Further along the path, you'd get to a series of swings for toddlers as well as for the kids and kids at heart. Around the back area of the park, one can see playpens exclusively for kids below four feet or so the rules say. It would have been neat if the rules were indeed followed, now these playpens doesn't look so cool as it did back when the park first opened. On the left side of the back of the park, a giant chess board fading away with its chess pieces are poorly maintained tucked along some picnic areas and exercise equipments. A junction to all these is the presence of the liveried personnel, looking all too important...
Read moreThe ambiance is welcoming. Everytime that we went here, I feel refreshed & happy. Inside the park, you can see various animals like birds, monkeys, ducks, & turtles.
You can have a picnic with your family here too. There are tables & bench for everyone.
On the side note, My son really loves the fake grass in the middle of the park. He usually runs & do roll overs on the area.
You can also bring a picnic mat and sit on it while watching the dancing fountain & enjoying the lively background music.
In addition to that, the park has lots of amenities like the theater, playground, chess, & exercising area.
For the playground, you will be asked to removed your shoes but most of the time, I noticed that not everyone is following this rule.
The slides are not slippery anymore maybe because it's being used a lot.
Things you should/could bring if you were to visit the park are the following: Hand soap (there's a washing area in the park), alcohol/sanitizer, mosquito repellant, water, & picnic mat.
I hope the park could be taken care and be well maintained because most of the time you will see trash/rubbish...
Read moreOpened to the public on 2015. This gave the people of Valenzuela a very great place to visit despite being in a busy city. It has an area for work out, for chess players, children’s playground, mini zoo, dancing fountain and an ampitheater. The place have security cameras on every area, has wifi connections, have many seats were people can rest and has many assigned securities and staffs. Unlike any other parks, so far, I’ve only seen few couples cuddling and getting intimate. Lol. And that makes this park safe and family friendly. It is located near the City Hall and has a Town Center mall beside. Surprisingly, health conscious individuals are really utilizing this park. Zumba sessions every morning and afternoon, you can jog around the place and use their manual exercise tools. The powder rooms are clean and yes, there are bidets installed. People from all walks of life go here and during Christmas season, this has the largest Christmas...
