A place called Uacon in the town of Candelaria, Zambales does not offer much BUT the place is truly magnificent. If you are looking for a tranquil place - Uacon is one of your options. While the beach is just ordinary - the Uacon lake gives a picturesque view. Activities such as kayaking can be done here. A floating restaurant serves affordable food while you stay in the area. The sunset on the beach is truly relaxing - the place is not crowded during the lean season and I must say a perfect getaway for those who are tired of monotonous life in the city. UPDATE: Potipot Island is not officially open for tourists but you can rent a boat to check the island up close and take a quick dip in its pristine emerald beach.
