BARJJ Floating Restaurant — Restaurant in Zambales

Three stars. It's okay, but I won't return or recommend it to others.

Things that I like:

1. Excellent location. Barjj is a restaurant in a literal barge floating on Lake Uacon. Diners get to enjoy a view of the lake and mountains while enjoying a cool breeze. We even got to spot some strange-looking fish and jellyfish swimming around the barge.
2. Reasonably priced food.
3. It's only a 5-min drive from our resort (Brisa de Jardin)
4. Servers are polite

Things I don't like:

1. Food is mediocre. Not to say that it's bad, but it's standard fare.
2. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Servers took a while to give us drinking water. We ordered sinigang, but servers took a while to give us bowls.

Lowdown: Barjj is the only restaurant near our resort, so we had no choice but to go there. Fortunately for us, the restaurant wasn't bad, and had an excellent location. Barjj is something you visit once for the novelty but never return to.

Important tips: Parking can be accessed by going into the Uacon Plaza/basketball court if you're unfamiliar with the place you might miss it from the road. The barge can be accessed...

My saving grace at Zambales, Barjj Floating Restaurant was a hidden gem.

This restaurant is located far from the roadside you have to get through the barangay hall to gete here, while it can be found here in google maps, navigating the place was not easy try to ask around to find where it is if you have a hard time navigating.

Food was outstandingly delicious while they have a high price point I wholeheartedly believe that their food justifies the price point as I loved eating everything that I ordered. Side note though, the Barjj burger is very tiny. Tasty yet not filling.

Service was fast, adequate, helpful, and accommodating. The personnel at the time were understaffed and had to cater to more than 30 people but they were still able to deliver their roles at a much faster rate than I anticipated. The service crew were really great.

There is ample parking for cars and motorcycles nothing to worry about although you should plan ahead as the parking layout can easily block other cars from...

I personally recommend the Zambal Bistek, tried many versions of it and the usual taste is just a bit salty, however their Zambal Bistek is flavourful and serves a different taste. They used or maybe add some ingredients that makes it more tasteful.

Pork ribs is a must for me whenever i have the chance to visit this lovely restaurant coz the seasoning of the pork and how they marinated it, you dont need a sauce to complement it. But of course it comes with a sweet sauce and coleslaw.

This floating restaurant serves a variety of food which per order is good to two to three person and the price is affordable.

Food is not the only offering of this restaurant, the beautiful and majestic view of zambales mountain range and Uacon lake, for sure you are up to a great time while enjoying the food of Barjj.
