Update 2024 September, still a great place. They now have a huge food stall court and event center. Sunsets are amazing.
I love the Boulevard of Dipolog ever since I first discovered it in 2015. I make it a priority to visit it every time I'm in Dipolog. It's more than a long walkway and street by the water, it's a community epicenter for the city. It's bustling with people exercising in the morning from walking and jogging to using the equipment in the rotary park and playing basketball. In the evening it essentially transforms into a community gathering place with street vendors lining the walkway, families relaxing and having dinner, friends and couples walking up and down enjoying the night cooled breeze. Don't expect many people there mid morning to mid afternoon since it's scorching outside. There are ample play areas for kids and a tourist center I just noticed. I've been walking the boulevard in the mornings while on holiday. I've been to a lot of cities in the world and the boulevard and Dipolog remain unique with this community centerpiece. It's still clean, I just thought it was a good idea to have frequent bins...

They also have a playground with exercise equipment. Many people walk with their dogs with no poop scoopers so expect and watch out for poops along the way. The seashore has many plastic waste which is very sad. A few times I saw a couple people (foreigners) picking these trash voluntarily which is really amazing. At night, the boulevard is full of people with their families and friends. So much street food to choose...
Read moreA place where you can watch the sunset at its best. There are lots of resto/cafe, food stalls on the side. You can also exercise there thru jogging or just walking to their lengthy boulevard. Everytime we come here, it's the sunset that attract us. Though we sleep in Dapitan City but we will always wait for the sun to set while having a snacks or a dinner on the side. After a long drive from CDO, for approx 6-8 hours, the view in the boulevard somehow de-stress our body and mind. I definitely recommend this boulevard if you happen to visit...
