CL Inn — Hotel in Mindanao

I had often travelled past this hotel and did not try or book because it is on the main street and I did not want the noise. On a recent visit all other hotels were full so I had to stay here. ||The room are located at the rear of the hotel, so noise was NOT a problem. My second concern was the cold water only showers. The water is stored in tanks on the roof, and the heat of the sun made the water less than cold. Even in the mornings the water was lukewarm in the shower. This pleasant surprise was followed by another! When I went down in the morning there were two meal vouchers for breakfast – included in the room rate! The rate was very reasonable, 700 Pesos for 2 including breakfast. I will stay there on my next trip to Dipolog. Hotel is located right downtown within walking distance of many restaurants...

The Good:||- Single rooms only 999p||- Double 1,200p||- Wifi at 144Mbps with routers on all the floors.||- Air Con works well||- Clean and clear indoor pool (50p charge)||- Restaurant and bar (beer 55p, shots 105p)||- Across from shopping mall||- Views of the mountains and the bay ||- Safety features: central alarm, sprinklers, emergency lights, deadbolt, door chain||||Not So Good:||- No in-room safe||- No free water in the room.||- If you are working on your laptop, their is a table, but the stool is way to short to be usable||- No blanket for the bed||- No hot water for the sink||- Fire escape is a ladder!||||This is a fairly new hotel. I've stayed at CL Inn for about 3 days and I must say that the convenience in brought is top tier. There was a slight misunderstanding at first regarding the extra beds but the room, the water, the ventilation and the staff are so accommodating. Overall, great place to spend your weekends at such an affordable price right at the center...
