We visited this museum today and we really liked it. We had a bit of a bad start as lady that was selling the tickets was quite unhelpful when asked about different ticket types and quite unpleasant. This is the starting point and the first impression wasn't great... however once we got inside we really enjoyed our visit. Quite a lot of history there- old cars, motorbikes and trams. Nice to see that a lot of them were actually manufactured in Szczecin. We liked the fact that you could walk in to the old trams and there was even a tram simulator. We quite liked the discovery and physics room- good idea for school kids. On the bonus note there are lockers there, so you can leave your jacket or shopping bags securely locked. They also have good baby changing and feeding facilities on site. The cleaning Lady was absolutely lovely too! Museum's got a lovely...

Przestrzeń, w której czas utknął na dobre. Panoptikum odległej epoki myśli techniki. Teren po nieczynnej już zajezdni tramwajowej Niemierzyn, przekształcony w atrakcyjne miejsce, idealne dla snucia wspomnień. Eksponują się tu wiekowe samochody, prezentują stare motocykle, skutery, motorowery i inne cuda niegdysiejszej motoryzacji. Wszystkie przywrócone swej dawnej świetności, czarują wdziękiem gości tego oryginalnego przybytku. Mnie osobiście urzekł i wzruszył do łez widok tramwaju Bremen, dystyngowanego seniora, którym jeszcze w latach studenckich zdarzało mi się podróżować po Szczecinie. Stojąc obok obecnego eksponatu, ujrzałam nagle zapadający jesienny zmrok i lśniące w perspektywie ulicy pojedyncze światełko, maleńki ognik... Tramwaj podjechał na przystanek, rozsunęły się drzwi... Wewnątrz wozu drewniana podłoga, na której nader trudno było podczas jazdy zachować równowagę, bacząc jednocześnie, by nie złamać eleganckiej, cienkiej wysokiej szpilki (stało się na palcach, nieraz trzeba było przecierpieć kilka przystanków), przygasające okrągłe lampy z białymi mlecznymi kloszami i czarujący dźwięk dzwonka - oto myślami pobiegłam w odległą perspektywę życia i znów przez chwilę byłam młodą studentką, rozpoczynającą dorosłe życie w Szczecinie... Czas jednak wrócić do teraźniejszości i podać garść przydatnych informacji: bilety w cenie 10 zł. normalny, 5 zł. ulgowy; dojazd tramwajami linii nr 3 i 10 - przystanek „Muzeum Techniki”, ul. Niemierzyńska. Na piętrze budynku mieści się kawiarnia. Jeśli jesteś fanem historii motoryzacji, pragniesz powrócić na chwilę do poprzedniej epoki i wspomnieć swą młodość lub przekonać się, jakim autem lub motocyklem jeździli twoi rodzice lub dziadkowie, złóż wizytę temu miejscu.
