Dona Dorinda Organic Wines — Attraction in Évora

My boyfriend and I visited Dona Dorinda and from the moment we found the professional Instagram and website, to the quick responsive email commutation to make our reservation and also the warm welcome we received, Carla went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour through the vineyard, and it's amazing to see how such a young winery has grown so quickly and it's very exciting to see how this organic winery and farm will grow in the future. The knowledge, passion and enthusiasm from Carla and Victor is truely inspiring, and this is evident in such great quality wine. There's not many wineries who keep their tours private to create a personal connection with their guests which really sets Dona Dorinda apart from bigger wineries. We finished our tour sampling the 2013 full bodied red under the shade of a tree with a view of their estate. Highly recommend for any wine enthusiasts...

We visited the wine farm in March and we had an absolutely amazing experience. Victor was an outstanding host and cheered us and made us feel welcome from the moment we entered the farm through the visit to the vineyards the wine tasting and telling us the history of the place It was an interesting surprise for me and my wife to find this place in the Twin where I grew up and to know that the owners are an american/dutch couple (my wife is American). We had such a lovely time at Dora Darinda. Very relaxed and the most knowledgeable tour guide we have had. So passionate about the vineyard and for good reason as he was the wine maker who had been with the winery since its foundation. The wine is on a different level to most we have tried, pure quality and organic. The vineyard has an attached farm and is very picturesque, just walking around it was a beautiful experience.
