Fantastic place to visit (especially with kids). It's a small and relatively simple center, but that's wholly compensated by the fantastic tour guide, who walked with us through the property, explaining everything at a great level of detail, handling our endless questions with grace and depth.
The outside has a small marsh puddle, which to uneducated eyes is unremarkable, but got unveiled as a complex, intricate ecosystem by our guide. In the inside, a remarkable rock collection, including an extremely old fossil example (I won't tell you the age not to spoil) and the planetarium, which was cozy, comfortable and had an excellent projector and software for simulating the night sky on different dates and times, and a wide range of films to select.
