Madeira Paragliding — Attraction in Calheta

I categorically do not recommend doing business with this company. very arrogant communication. the agreement was not followed, which ruined our daily plan. we had agreed on a flight time of 2:30 p.m., we actually took off only at 4:00 p.m. when we arrived at 2:15 p.m., 4 more people who arrived later than us were flown. we will not use the services of this company again.

it is not the first time we fly and we fully understand that wind and weather conditions can change. we respect nature and have no desire to risk the health and life of passengers and pilots. The family of 4 you mentioned arrived around 14:30, i.e. just in time for us to catch our flight. meanwhile, we booked our flight at 11:47 and we arrived on time before our booked flight, i.e. 14:15. meanwhile, the whole family of 4 you mentioned got their flight immediately, while my daughter (60 kg) had to wait until 16:00. we weren't even apologized for that! regarding the daughter's sandal, you didn't give us any information at all with what kind of footwear and how prepared the customers should arrive for the flight! in our comment, we did not express any claims regarding the pilot qualification and the flying of heavier persons. we are talking about complete disrespect for customers, failure to comply with the terms of the agreement, endless arrogance and inability to communicate with our customers. we came to your place on monday (29/07/2024) and emphasized that we would like a flight for 2 persons 60 and 95 kg. we specially waited for good weather and when booking the flight on 08/02/2024 at 11:47 we once again emphasized the weight of two persons 60 and 95 kg. upon arrival, the weight was determined to be 96.5 kg. i.e. error 1.5 kg! it is very unethical of you to accuse us of lying! don't manipulate or confuse your customer behavior with the majesty of nature! being able to admit your mistakes is a strength. regardless, we wish you a...

To begin with, the starting place is an incredibly unique spot with breathtaking views and such a peaceful ambience. From the very first moment you feel a positive vibe and that’s already a big bonus to the flying experience itself.

I was surprised that I didn’t need to pay before the flight, but these guys really care about giving you the best flying experience in the first place. What is important, they only fly if the weather conditions are 100% safe. You can feel they are truly passionate about their job and they can also give you some precious tips about Madeira. Before the flight I received very clear safety instructions from my pilot, so that both the take-off and landing went very smoothly.

The flight itself is an experience that will stay in my memory forever. The feeling of boundless freedom, the wind in my hair and the warm rays of the sun on my skin, the fabulous views, the endless ocean and the green hills under my feet.... indescribable emotions!

My pilot, who is also the owner of the place, Hartmut is an extremly interesting person who created this piece of paradise from scratch. He just had a dream and a vision and he made it happen with hard work!! If you have possibility to get to know his story, you will be astonished at his mindset and creativity - definitely a huge inspiration:—)! I am also very impressed by Hartmut's knowledge, as he is perfectly able to read nature's cues and make use of them during the flight to soar even higher and assure the passenger an extremely exciting moments.

Hello Vincent I'm the pilot who flied with you. Im explained to you very well what you have to do during the take off either in the landing. For instance during your take off you have already done a mistake because you were sitting just on the last minute before the time and because of that I have to support all your weight on your departure. The rest of the flight goes very well but due the weather conditions it was no posible to did toplanding so we have to go to the madalena beach for landing chosing the place more confortable to you - the place where usually all the pilots landed. I did explained very well how you have to do during your landing standing on the same position of the take off and walking a few steps even before the first touch with the land. During your landing you just put your legs behind your body putting your knees on the wrong position and because of that you crash your trousers and knees. Despite of you during the landing I'm standing behind you (on the correct position with any problem). All of this statements you can check on your video and if you want you can ask to any instructor and I'm sure sure that everybody will tell you that the error was made by you.You know that after that i concerned a lot about your health conditions and I gave to you all the support you needed as a responsible person.
