A small restaurant at a dead end with a magnificent view. It has a very limited menu but what they have is all homemade and cooked fresh. I especially recommend the chicken balls. The host is very friendly and loves to tell you about what to do and see in Madeira. It is very inexpensive. For four people eating and having multiple drinks we spent €50. We went here because of the reviews but were not really excited. Only a few options on the menu and all very basic, which would be fully ok if it was also plenty and tasty. However, portions were quite small and my son could not finish his burger patty since it tasted quite unappetizing. Found this place local to where we were staying. Imagine our surprise when we arrived on 6th February to find the Christmas decorations still up !! Very basic and in need of a good freshen up.
