Spent a full day at Praia Fluvial do Lago Azul and it was such a memorable experience! The lake is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful, surrounded by nature — ideal for a relaxing day with friends or family. I went with my best friends, and we had an amazing time swimming, sunbathing, and even doing some stand up paddle, which made the day even more fun and special.

After soaking up the sun and good vibes, we did a responsible camping night nearby to rest before heading back home. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. If you’re looking for a beautiful and calm place to unwind, Lago Azul is 100% worth the visit!

No words can describe this hidden treasure. Watch out with the tight curves and narrow roads, go slowly and steadily. Beautiful drive coming down to this river lake. the beach strip istelf is TINY and as always in Portugal you better bring your shade and towel.
