Great for all who like to hike and soak in amazing views and be one to one with nature. I would go back every time when in Funchal just to discover new paths and be surrounded by all that beauty.
We barely saw anyone else there so it was even more magical, with walking through the clouds and then seeing a whole rainbow appear in the valley.
The views of the ocean and the town beneath the mountains are stunning!
There's a hut at the bottom with a café to stop in your way up or on return.
